Azfelius is also know as the Faerie Planet. For millennia the Faeries kept the planet hidden from the outside world using their connection to the Etheric to avoid the wars between the Kurtherians and other species. When they felt Bethany Anne they saw a being who used the Etheric for justice and approached her for Federation membership. While Federation members, they will not engage in any combat that is not directly related to repelling the Kurtherians.

The Art of Smuggling[]
The first appearance of Azfelius and the Faeries is in The Art of Smuggling. There is a rivalry between clans and in the midst of the disagreement a precious artwork appears to be stolen. Rivka Anoa shows it was just hidden by one of the factions. The Faeries see Jay as a pure spirit and ask her to negotiate a peace. The faction leaders and Jay leave to a time bubble and in what seems like minutes on the planet was 2 days to them. The Faeries give Jay the name Groenwyn and ask her to be the ambassador at large for Azfelius.
