Samuel is with Richard in Australia when Gabrielle tracks them down to get more information on vampire-on-vampire activity in their part of the world. Samuel has a lot of information about Kamiko Kana, the false Queen. But before he would provide it, he had to fight with Scott because he didn’t believe that a human could take him out, he finally yielded when he realized that he was finished and was given the choice of yielding or dying.

Samuel and Richard have fun terrorizing three young men that went exploring in the caverns of Magistic 12 project after it was blown up. They were trying to drive them away before the military that were excavating the caverns right above them, found the three young men and make sure that both their film and they disappear forever.
