After he got to close to a black hole he hit the button for the Etheric drive and randomly ended up in the Sol system, the only planet that he detected life on was Earth, so made his way there with a damaged ship. After some time Michael found the Spaceship and TOM changed him with the nanocytes. But he didn't know the human physiognomy and so the process was very painful for Michael and would be painful for every human Michael and his Children would change. After Michael left the ship nobody encountered it until Michael brought Bethany Anne.
